Helping to Help Others
Through Your Generous Donations

We pledge that 100% of all profits from your generous financial gifts will be passed on to other like-minded groups that help to protect marine mammals and other creatures all over the globe. This year, we have selected the following three organizations that will benefit from your generosity. These organizations were chosen based on the fact that their missions resonate with the goals of the Puerto Vallarta Whale Watching Forum.

By becoming a member of the Puerto Vallarta Whale Watching Forum, you’ll help us to help this season’s recipients. Click on our Become A Member page to learn more. Thank you.

Our 2008/2009 recipients include:

The American Cetacean Society
Like the Puerto Vallarta Whale Watching Forum, ACS believes that the best way to protect whales, dolphins, porpoises and their habitats is by educating the public about these remarkable animals and the problems that they face in their increasingly threatened habitats. They offer a variety of educational programs which are of interest to both global and local audiences. They are an incredible organization and can be visited on the internet at:

The Marine Mammal Conservancy
The mission of the MMC is both extremely simple and hugely complex. They provide professional and effective response and care for stranded marine mammals and, like the Puerto Vallarta Whale Watching Forum, with the help of public education, they help to ensure the success of these inspiring and threatened creatures. They can be visited on the internet at:

The Whale & Dolphin Conservation Society
The WDCS’s charitable aim is to protect and conserve cetaceans; this includes the individual animals as well as the species. They have several current campaigns that are designed to educate the public and to protect all marine mammal species.

International Fund for Animal Welfare
The International Fund for Animal Welfare works to improve animal welfare, prevent animal cruelty and abuse, protect wildlife and provide animal rescue around the world. From stopping the elephant ivory trade, to ending the Canadian seal hunt and saving the whales from extinction, IFAW works to create solutions that benefit both animals and people.
